1910 General Store Museum
Located at 2 East Elm St.
Monroe’s 1910 building has a long and varied history in our city. It has been a general store, soda fountain, dress shop, municipal services building, popular local hangout called the “Hornet’s Nest” and now a museum.
Monroe Historical Society Log Cabin
Dated to 1797 moved from nearby property to
Monroe Community Park.
Contains artifacts from the era and is open for tours by appointment.
